A Maltipoo in Singapore is a small 3–7 kg companion, with daily indoor play and short walks outside the flat. The low-shedding coat needs frequent brushing and regular grooming. A Maltipoo is not a named breed on the Schedule and can qualify only when both parents are Schedule breeds: a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Do not assume every Maltipoo is approved; check the current HDB rules. Compare temperament, size and daily care with a Cavapoo before deciding which individual puppy fits your household.

Maltipoo puppy price in Singapore (2026)
Maltipoo puppy prices in Singapore generally range from about S$3,500 to S$5,500. The spread comes down to coat and colour, age on arrival and how many puppies were in the litter — rarer colours always sit at the higher end because far fewer are exported each season.
At Furgive You SG the quoted price is the price you pay at collection. There is no separate import surcharge, no vaccination top-up and no microchip fee added at the counter, and we'll always tell you upfront where a particular Maltipoo puppy sits in that range and why.

Ongoing cost of owning a Maltipoo in Singapore
Budget roughly S$120–S$220 a month once your Maltipoo puppy is home. Food and grooming are the two recurring line items that surprise most first-time owners, so plan for them before you commit.
- Premium food suited to the breed: S$45–S$80/month
- Professional grooming: S$60–S$90 per session
- Heartworm, tick and flea prevention: S$30–S$50/month
- Annual vaccination and health check: S$150–S$300/year
- Pet insurance (optional): S$40–S$90/month
- AVS dog licence renewal: from S$15/year
Why cheap Maltipoo puppies are a red flag
Listings well below S$2,500 usually mean undocumented imports, no AVS licence behind the sale, or puppies moved on before they were ready to leave their litter. Ask any seller for their AVS licence number, the breeder's name and the puppy's health records before you place a deposit — we're happy for you to ask us exactly the same questions in person.
Deposits, payment and what happens next
A deposit reserves a specific Maltipoo puppy and is only taken after you've met the puppy or seen full video and paperwork. The balance is settled at collection in our showroom, where we walk you through the health records, feeding plan and the first week at home. Our 48-hour health guarantee covers certain specified genetic diseases where a certified vet declares the puppy unfit to be sold. It is subject to terms; ask us for the full conditions.
Is a Maltipoo right for your home in Singapore?
Maltipoos are wonderful companions, but Singapore adds two constraints most breed guides skip: housing rules and heat. Work through both honestly before you commit — we would much rather match you to the right breed than sell you the wrong one.
HDB rules and housing
A Maltipoo is not a named breed on the HDB Schedule. A cross can qualify only when both parent breeds are named on the Schedule; for a Maltipoo, those parents must be a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Do not assume every Maltipoo is approved. A full-grown Maltipoo weighs about 3–7 kg and stands roughly 20–35 cm tall. Check the official HDB Keeping Pets page and the Housing and Development (Animals) Rules Schedule (61 named breeds, plus item 62 for a cross of any two listed breeds). Dog licences are issued by AVS, not HDB. For HDB flats, see our HDB-suitable breeds guide.
Space, exercise and daily routine
Maltipoos need only 20–40 minutes of activity a day, usually split into two short walks plus indoor play, which makes them one of the easiest breeds to keep in a flat. Whatever the breed, walks in Singapore belong in the cooler hours — before roughly 9am and after 7pm — with water on hand and a quick pavement temperature check with the back of your hand. On rainy days, swap the walk for scent games, puzzle feeders or short training drills indoors.
Family, kids and other pets
Maltipoos adore people and settle happily with children who have been taught to sit on the floor rather than pick the puppy up, and they usually accept cats and other small dogs easily. You're welcome to bring your children to meet our puppies at the showroom so you can see the dynamic for yourself before deciding.
Temperament, training and neighbours
Bright, sociable and quick to learn, Maltipoos can become vocal if they're bored or left alone too long, so build up alone-time gradually from the first week. Start crate training and toilet routines from day one, keep training sessions short and reward-based, and socialise your puppy with lifts, void decks and delivery trolleys early — in dense Singapore housing, a confident dog is a quiet dog.
Caring for a Maltipoo puppy in Singapore's climate
Managing heat and humidity
Small dogs overheat quickly on hot pavement because they sit so close to the ground, so keep midday outings brief and use grass or shaded corridors where you can. Watch for heavy panting, brick-red gums, thick drool or wobbliness — the early signs of heat stress. Cool your dog with room-temperature water on the belly and paws, never ice water, and call your vet immediately.
Coat, skin and grooming
The Maltese × Poodle coat is low-shedding but grows continuously, so brush every day or two to prevent matting behind the ears and under the legs, and book a professional groom every 6–8 weeks. Dry the coat thoroughly after every bath — damp fur in our humidity is the single biggest cause of hot spots and yeast — and check ears weekly, as Singapore's climate makes ear infections common in dogs with drop or heavily coated ears.
Feeding and healthy growth
Feed a small-breed puppy formula across three to four small meals a day until six months — toy crosses are prone to low blood sugar if meals are skipped. Keep your puppy lean; excess weight is the most avoidable contributor to joint problems later in life. Fresh water should always be available, and food portions adjusted every few weeks as your puppy grows.
Vet care and health screening
Maltipoos are generally hardy, but watch for patellar luxation, dental crowding and tear staining; annual dental checks make a real difference in small breeds. Complete the vaccination series on schedule and start heartworm prevention early — mosquitoes make heartworm a year-round risk in Singapore. Every Maltipoo we import arrives with breeder health records, so your own vet has full history from the very first visit.
How our Maltipoo puppies reach Singapore
We work with a small number of ethical overseas breeders in Australia and Ireland — kennels we know by name, where puppies are raised inside a family home rather than a commercial facility. Our Maltipoo litters come from small home-based programmes where the puppies are raised underfoot with children and household noise.
From breeder to our East Coast Road showroom
Puppies stay with their litter until they are old enough to travel, fly on approved routes, then clear AVS import and quarantine requirements before arriving with us. Each puppy is examined by our vet on arrival, settled at the showroom, and only listed once we're satisfied it is healthy, eating well and comfortable with people.
What happens when you visit
Book a private 45-minute play date at 278 East Coast Road, Singapore 428944. You'll meet the puppy in a quiet room, see the health records and import paperwork, and talk through food, crate setup and the first week at home. All collections happen in-store so we can hand over properly — we don't deliver puppies.

- Vaccination card and vet health certificate for every puppy, dewormed and microchipped before collection
- Lifetime WhatsApp support after you take your puppy home
Joining the Maltipoo waitlist
Maltipoos are one of our most requested small crosses and puppies are often reserved within days of landing. Join the waitlist over WhatsApp and we'll message you with photos, gender, expected arrival date and pricing as soon as the next litter is confirmed — no deposit needed simply to be on the list.
Maltipoo puppy questions in Singapore
Where can I buy a Maltipoo from an AVS-licensed shop in Singapore?▼
Furgive You Pte Ltd is an AVS-licensed pet shop (Licence AS24C00019) at 278 East Coast Road. Meet available Maltipoo puppies at the showroom and complete the purchase and collection in store.
What size and coat does a Maltipoo have, and can it live in a flat?▼
An adult Maltipoo is typically small at about 3–7 kg. Its Maltese × Poodle coat is low-shedding but needs brushing every day or two and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. Short daily walks and indoor play can suit flat living, with midday outings kept brief in Singapore's heat.
Are Maltipoos HDB-approved in Singapore?▼
A Maltipoo is not a named breed on the Schedule. It can qualify only when both parents are Schedule breeds: a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. Do not assume every Maltipoo is approved; check HDB’s current rules before buying. Read our guide to HDB-approved dog breeds.
Maltipoo vs Cavapoo — which may suit my home?▼
Both are small, affectionate, low-shedding Poodle crosses. Maltipoos are typically about 3–7 kg and playful, while Cavapoos are typically about 5–9 kg and sweet-natured. Coat care, daily company and the individual puppy's temperament matter more than the label alone. Compare our Cavapoo puppies page and Cavapoo versus Maltipoo guide.
What is the collection age, waitlist and what is included for a Maltipoo puppy?▼
A puppy's current age is shown on its live listing. Availability changes, so confirm current stock or the waitlist on WhatsApp. Puppies are vaccinated for their age, dewormed and AVS-microchipped before collection, with a vet health certificate and a starter kit. See what's included.
